Bird Watching Tour

The Indian region is extensively rich with Avifauna, Over 1200 species are found in this region, this number rises to over 2000 when one include subspecies, which makes the Indian birding check-list twice the size of those of Europe & North America. Our tours are designed keeping in mind the pure birding holiday whilst enjoying the travel to wild and often beautiful parts of India. While on tour, we will, of course, also take advantage of opportunities to view mammals and other wildlife fauna and flora. Of the 8650 species of birds in the world, India is home to as many as 1200 (roughly 14%), out of which 141 are endemic to this region. Even more astonishing is the fact that out of the total 27 Orders and 155 Families that bird life has been classified into, India has 20 Orders and 77 Families. Out of these, 77 are endangered species. The reason for this richness of species is the region's highly varied climate, the associated diversity of vegetation . From the heights of the highest Himalayas to the greatest mangrove forest delta in the Sunderbans, the land is unique, making India a home for some of the most sought after wild birds in the world. Although all the national parks are the great spots for birding tours, But on this page we have listed few of the birdwatching spots that are celebrated for bird watching tours in India.

Full day birding in and around Delhi. Overnight at hotel.

Day 03 - Delhi to Corbett National Park
Morning depart Delhi by surface for Corbett National (267 km) stopping en route at places for birding. Arrive Corbett by evening and check in at hotel/camp. Overnight at hotel/camp.

Day 04 - Corbett National Park
Full day birding in Corbett. Overnight at hotel/camp.

Day 05 - Corbett National Park
Full day birding in Corbett. Overnight at hotel/camp.

Day 06 - Corbett National Park

Day 07 - Corbett National Park to Nainital
Morning depart Corbett for Nainital (120 km) stopping en route for birding. Arrive Nainital and check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08 - Nainital
Full day birding around Nainital. Overnight at hotel.

Day 09 - Nainital
Full day birding around Nainital. Overnight at hotel.

Day 10 - Nainital to Delhi
Morning depart Nainital for Delhi stopping by en route for birding. Arrive Delhi and check in at hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 11 - Delhi to Bharatpur
Morning depart Delhi for Bharatpur stopping by en route for birding. Arrive Bharatpur and check in at hotel. Afternoon birding inside Keoladeo Ghana National Park. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12 - Bharatpur
Full day birding inside the Keoladeo Ghana National Park. Overnight at hotel.

Day 13 - Bharatpur to Delhi and Depart
Morning visit Bandbareta for birding. Afternoon depart Bhartpur for Delhi. Arrive IGI international airport in time to board the international flight. Depart Delhi.
